Disability Discrimination Act 2004
The hotel as an active policy with regard to the implementation of the Disability Discrimination Act and is committed to providing access wherever possible.
We are working with the Disability Rights Commission (DRC) to ensure that the hotel's policy satisfies the requirements of the DDA as far as possible. The installation of facilities and auxiliary aids is taking place under a planned programme along side other projects.
The hotel is continually trying to improve and adopt it's services that are provided in all areas
We recently installed a Disabled toilet facility on the ground floor. All access to the hotel have ramps and we are reviewing all other procedures.
Unfortunately all our bedrooms are allocated on the First Floor of the hotel however, we will ensure all wheelchair users are offered the opportunity to stay at the Darrington Hotel - Travelodge (2 Miles) and we will provide complimentary transport to and from this venue.
