How Do I Book My Wedding Reception At Best Western Rogerthorpe Manor?

Firstly, we will send you a Wedding DVD which shows you our fantastic facility. It has all the Drinks Packages and Wedding Menus for you to peruse. Then it is time to book an appointment with our Wedding Co-ordinator, Claire Watford. At your appointment we will show you all the hotels facilities and answer all your queries!.

How Do I Confirm My Booking?

We will reserve a date for you for up to two weeks. This is classed as a provisional booking. During this period if you wish to confirm your booking we ask for a £300.00 non refundable deposit and a signed contract. If you wish not to continue with the booking after two weeks we will cancel your provisional booking.

What Happens After My Deposit?

We will send you a letter confirming the deposit and date booked. 6 Months before your wedding date you are requested to pay One Thousand Pounds. Claire will then write to you 8 weeks before your event to invite you to go through your Final Details. From the information given Claire will then send a pro - forma invoice for the balance of your wedding day. This is to be paid at least Two Weeks before the day of your wedding.

What Happens If I Have Any Questions Regarding My Wedding?

We are more than happy to answer any questions that you may have. Just ring or send an email and we will respond straight away. We have a Wedding Co-ordinator and also several members of staff who are wedding trained so we always have staff on duty who can answer any question that you may have.

Will The Prices Change If We Book 18 Months In Advance?

The Wedding Packs have been set for 2010, 2011 and 2012. We will then review them for any weddings in the year 2013 and onwards.

Do You Charge Room Hire?

No, we do not charge for any Room Hire, including Civil Ceremonies, (however we may charge a room hire should you decide upon a peak date with low numbers)

Where can we have our Photographs taken?

Our beautifully manicured lawns are the perfect area for your photos, with areas like the one below, your photos will be just perfect. If the weather is inclement on the day we also have several areas inside for your photos.

Do you provide the Cake Knife and Stand?

We  provide both the above if required. We have several choices of Stands, Round, Square, Swan Neck etc. We can also provide a Personal Cake Engraving service.

Do You Have Any Special Rates For My Guests Who Wish To Stay At The Hotel?

We provide a complimentary Honeymoon suite for all Bride and Grooms (subject to package chosen). Their respective guests receive favorable Wedding Rates, (Please See Wedding Accommodation Page).

Block booking of rooms is NOT ALLOWED under any circumstances.

How Do We Book A DJ ?

We book this on your behalf and add the cost to your Pro Forma Invoice.We only use one company, Pro Sound Disco's. They provide us with over 200 DJ's a year. We advise you to contact Mr Lee Booth direct to discuss first dances special requests etc. This can be done by clicking here.

Who Will Announce The Speeches On The Day?

A complimentary Master of Ceremonies. He will greet you on arrival at the hotel and be with you all throughout your day. He will announce speeches and toasts for you.

Do you allow Fireworks or Chinese Lanterns?

Fireworks and/or Chinese lanterns are not permitted at the hotel due to the close proximity of the boundary of the Manor. We are also close to a farm and believe it unfair on any livestock.

Do You hold any Wedding Fayres?

Twice a year we hold a Wedding Fayre

Do you hold Civil Partnerships ?

We are delighted to hold civil Partnerships.

Can we have a Hog Roast ?

Absolutely, we are now able to offer this service for your evening food option. Click this link for further details.

Can you provide Chair Covers and Bows?

Yes, we are now able to provide this service. Please allow 6 weeks as a minimum for your order to be processed. The cost is £4.00 per chair with White Linen and various colours of bows

Can you provide any Luxuries for our Bedroom?

Do you allow live Music?

Yes this is allowed, please remember that band etc will impact on your floor space for your evening reception.

Do you allow a Creche Service for Children?

Yes, please use our friends at A Little Something Extra Creche Services to provide you with you your needs.

What other activities do you allow?
New to the Manor is Laser Clay Pigeon Shooting, available on both the Lawrence and Cawthorne grounds. We recommend our friends at C.L.A.S.S. Laser Clay. This is great fun and excellent for Children and Adults!
